Hi, I’m Lukas, an ML researcher from Linz, Austria. I am doing my PhD with Sepp Hochreiter at Johannes Kepler University and work as a Research Scientist at NXAI. My research interests include linear sequence mixers, sparse attention, LLM pre- and post-training and efficient machine learning in general.

My writing here focuses on understanding how ML methods work, implementing them, and figuring out the practical details along the way.
